Madison County

Madison County, a small rural county in the center of Upstate New York, is truly a destination for tourism for all four seasons.

Spring marks the beginning of some of the best fishing in New York State for trout, walleye, bass, northern pike, etc.

Summer is a time of a variety of festivals and fairs celebrating everything from the Wizard of Oz to like on the Erie Canal.

In the Fall, Madison County’s foliage is as beautiful as any to be found anywhere in the entire Northeast. It is also a time when hunting for whitetail deer, wild turkey, and grouse gets under way.

Winter Madison County is alive with activity from cross-country skiing to snowmobiling.
