Elbridge is a town located west of Syracuse, in Onondaga County, NY. At the 2000 census, the town had a population of 1,691. It is roughly 36 square miles and can be accessed through the NYS-Thruway, or NYS- Routes 5 & 31.
Within the Town of Elbridge lie both the Village of Elbridge and the Village of Jordan.
Elbridge was incorporated as a town in the year 1829. It is said that the town’s name was derived from a member of the Boston Tea Party, signer of the Declaration of Independence and once the Vice President of the USA - Elbridge Gerry.
Elbridge is a quiet, quaint community featuring a bounty of rolling hills and sky.
