Loudonville Real Estate Information
Loudonville is located in the town of Colonie, in the county of Albany, NY. The hamlet was once a part of the US Census, however, it was not included in the 2000 census. The town of Colonie has strict zoning regulations which have prevented much commercial development.
The hamlet of Loudonville has not been clearly laid out on a map, but is rather a generally known area. It was named after John Campbell, the 4th Earl of Loudon, and originated as a summer destination for many of Albany’s wealthiest residents. Loudonville is also home to private Catholic university Siena College.
