As the holiday season winds down I look back at 2014 and ask myself "how did I do it". It was a wonderful year as I became a grandma for the 5th & 6th time. In February my daughter Jennifer and her husband Chris went to Bulgaria to adopt two little ones with Down's Syndrome . We were lucky enough to be able to go to North Carolina to take care of three of the children. The oldest is in College but she actually came and helped us out. While there my Dad became ill and was hospitalized. We came home and I was able to take care of him the last month of his life. I am so grateful that I choose real estate as my career. I was able to still do business while my dad was home or in the hospital. I have the best clients in the world they were patient and kind throughout these tough times.
After Dad was gone I had the honor of selling my family home that I grew up in. It made me realize that when selling a house that is an estate that there are family members involved and they should be respected as they want the best price for their house and there house was their home. Fortunately I had another agent from Coldwell Banker on the buyers side and he treated me and my family with respect which is one of the reasons why I choose to make a change to Coldwell Banker. I came to the Loudonville office and was pleasantly surprised how nice everyone is.
Holidays were wonderful spend with loved ones. Last year personally was tough but professionally great. I am grateful for my family. I am also grateful for the many referrals from friends and clients. I am never too busy for your referrals. Looking forward to a great 2015!!
