Personal Background

A native of the Capital District, I attended Albany Public Schools through middle school and graduated from Marylrose Academy. My father owned businesses in Albany, Delmar and Ballston Spa. I worked with/for him from the time I could price inventory, until I left Albany to attend college. My parents' work ethic and integrity were guiding forces for my siblings and me throughout our lives.

Through my education and careers, I have lived in Boston, Baltimore, Kingston, Glens Falls, York PA, Muskegon MI, New Orleans, Wichita KS,coming home to Albany in 2003. With all of the moves, I learned to quickly acclimate to a new area, become involved in community activities, and buying and selling many homes! I can truly empathize with my clients.

I am a mother of 6, by birth and adoption.  Four of my children have special needs which never slowed them down in school, athletics, music, playing or working.  This taught me to be a consummate researcher, relentless advocate, flexible while moving forward and a more patient person. The thrill of raising wonderful children to having them become terrific young adults has been an adventure which is ever changing.

When younger, my children would ask, "Any listings, new clients, closings????" when I arrive home. They understood my career and would often help me with marketing materials, mailings, research and data entry.  Back to my beginnings of a family working together, with love, for success on many levels
