What to do to avoid Scams Part 1 of 2

What to do to Avoid  SC A M S !

If a deal sounds too-good to be true,  it probably is.  Do your research thoroughly.

Know who you are dealing with - verify where a call or e-mail is coming from.  Do research on the internet to verify

a seller's physical address (not just a p.o. box) and phone number.  Check customer reviews, especially negative ones.

If someone calls and wants you to act - quickly,  it could be a SCAM.  Tell them you will think-about-it, and take

  your time.

Don't send or wire money to strangers.  It's better to do business with sites you know and trust and use payment

options that offer protection, such as credit cards.

Be aware that wiring money is just like Sending Cash.  So be wary of sellers who insist on wire transfers.  It's nearly

impossible to trace the money or reverse the transaction.
