Selling your house

When someone's house doesn't sell, they often like to blame the bad economy.  True the market isn't what it was, but there's still a lot of positive things that can be done by a homeowner to help sell the house.  If you create a nice ambience whereby prospective  buyers walk in and there's a welcoming feeling, it will make a huge difference. The house is spotless, smells fresh, it's uncluttered and maybe painted in warm neutral colors.  They can look around and visualize themselves living there.  You are selling more than your house, to a buyer - it's their future home.  Remember we're always in control of how we handle adversity.  If the market is bad, make your house sell in spite of it.
