It's amazing that Thanksgiving is just around the corner. It's one of my favorites because everybody celebrates. It doesn't matter if you are religious or not this is really just about feeling grateful for all that we have. It's a great time to get together with family and friends or maybe going out to help the less fortunate.
The size of your house isn't really relevant because as long as you have a kitchen and a place to eat, you can squeeze in people and enjoy the day. It can be a simple meal or a feast fit for kings, but it's really the people that you're with that counts.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the people in areas afflicted by Sandy. It might be hard to celebrate this year especially if you lost someone close to you or if your house is gone. Sometimes, we just have to pick up the pieces, put them back together and keep on going. Let's always remember that the people in our lives are the most important and the things that we have can always be replaced.
