What can go wrong?


The hardest part of buying a house isn't always finding a house.  Once you find a house and you make an offer that is accepted, you have to get to the closing.

It's important for you to have a Real Estate Atttorney.  You want an attorney who is used to dealing with real estate transactions.  Pick a reputable structural inspector who isn't an alarmist.  You want to know if there are major defects but you don't want someone who's going to pick the house apart. Don't make any huge purchases before the closing.  You were pre-approved to buy the house but if you buy a new car or loads of new furniture, you may no longer qualify.  Be patient and talk to your agent about any concerns.  They can usually be ironed out.
