your garden

This is the time of the year where your might want to start cleaning up your yard and garden.  It's still beautiful outside so it's a good time to work outdoors.  The leaves are starting to come down, so there's a lot of raking to do.  If you want to put in bulbs for next year, this is a really good time to do it.  If you have perennials that are starting to look scraggly, you can trim them down.  If you have a spice garden, it's a great time to bring them in, bag them and put them in the freezer.  Make sure that you mark them and date them or you might forget what you have. Most of your veggies like cucumbers, tomatoes and others that are above ground will soon be done.  Bring in the green tomatoes before the first frost and wrap them in newspaper.  They will ripen. Enjoy this beautiful weather!
