One Year Anniversary

We have just celebrated the one year anniversary of creating the Messia Culihan Group. It was in November of 2008 that Joe Messia and Chris Culihan decided to adopt the mission that we have listed at the top of our website. "By accepting the responsibility of managing an individual's real estate purchase or sale, we are indebted to each client, with the only adequate repayment being a successful transaction." We have worked every day since to accomplish that mission. During the year we have seen much different success including the successful closing of challenging properties. The biggest and most exciting change of the year was the addition of Janet Trombly to the group. This has proved to be a great fit for all of us.

Joseph Messia

Joe, a life long resident of the Capital District earned his Bachelor of Science in Business & Economics from The State University of New York College at Cortland. Immediately upon completing his degree Joe joined Coldwell Banker Prime Properties where he found early success and has since earned awards including 2008 "rising star".

Christopher J. Culihan

Chris , a life long resident of the Capital District eared his Bachelor of Arts in History from The University at Albany. Chris joined Coldwell Banker Prime Properties and was given the immense task of handling Corporate Owned properties . Chris has earned numerous accreditations including Pinnacle, one of the companies highest awards.

Janet Trombly

With over 20 years real estate experience in the area, Janet has handled a wide range of real estate transactions and is an expert relocation specialist. Janet is a consistent multi-million dollar producer, receiving top sales and listing awards.

Our general rule of thumb is that represent buyer and sellers in the 4 major counties of the Capital District; Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady.
