Pricing in The Fall Market

Has your home been on the market for more than 30 days? What has the showing activity been? If you have not been seeing any buyers, perhaps it is time for a price reduction. Interest rates are the lowest they have been in 40 years (so the lenders tell us) and there are definitely buyers out there! So it is important to position yourself so you are next sale in your neighborhood! Ask your realtor to update your market analysis to see what has sold and where your competition is priced. Then, price your home just a bit under that so buyers see you as the best value.

September and October are excellent selling months...don't lose out on the opportunity to get your home under contract. If a new home or a new location is the reason you are selling, proper pricing of your current home will enable you to realize your goal.
