About Bisaillon Custom Builders
Meet the Bisaillon Custom Builders Team!
Joel Bisaillon Sr is a graduate engineer of Syracuse University with a BSCE 1978 majoring in Structural Engineering and Union College with an MSME in 1981. His career began in 1978 with EBASCO Engineers and Constructors as a resident civil engineer on a power plant project in Brush, Colorado. He then transferred to General Electric in Schenectady where he retired after 37 years as a Project Manager responsible for the design and construction of major power plant projects both domestically and internationally.
Joel, along with his father Larry, started Bisaillon Custom Builders (BCB) in 1994 as a residential development and building company focused on new construction and rehabilitation of existing properties. Bisaillon Custom Builders had a part in the development and/or building of Oakmont, Hartland Street, Campo Court, and Overlook Park in Niskayuna, along with Maple Forest II in Clifton Park. BCB is currently focused on Kelts Farm in Niskayuna.
BCB added Joel’s daughter, Caitlin Vallario, to the company as Vice President of Operations. Caitlin graduated from James Madison University in 2010 with a degree in finance. She has held positions in benefits and human resources at MicroStrategy, Mercer, and most recently at American Diabetes Association. Caitlin’s great organization and customer skills, along with her design flair, will assist customers with the selection process and make the new home construction experience enjoyable.
